Topping the Official Singles Chart this week is DJ Khaled's Wild Thoughts, featuring Rihanna and Bryson Tiller. It's a second chart-topper for DJ Khaled, who took I'm The One all the way back in May, but even more impressive is that this is Rihanna's ninth appearance on a Number 1 single. She is now one of 10 acts to enjoy nine chart-toppers, level-pegging with Abba and the Spice Girls.
2. Demi is on her way up
Biggest climb in this week's chart goes to Demi Lovato, who is unapologetically trampling over her rivals with Sorry Not Sorry. The track zooms 42 slots to break into the Top 40 at 27.
Congrats to the Vamps, who score their first Number 1 album with Night and Day! They also top the Record Store Chart, which measures what's popular in independent record shops. Slightly interesting fact: aside from La La Land's cast recording, all this year's Number 1 albums so far have come from British acts.
With a star-studded video and more hooks than a cloakroom, A Public Affair reached Number 20 in February 2007, selling 25,800 to date. so far in 2017, it's shifted 46 downloads (2 this week) and notched up 31,000 streams (1,009 of those in the last seven days). Clearly some excellent pop taste out there!
